Nikon D5100 Review

Nikon D5100 Review. The new D5100 is the lever on the Live View is located next to the mode dial and enhanced features Night Vision. This feature is similar to raising the ISO to 102 400 numbers so they can catch the light very dim though. Fun anymore, this feature can also be used when recording video, although I also like what the results were not known. There is also a direct button for video recording (red) located near the ON-OFF camera, side by side with the Ev and the INFO button.

The following features and specifications of the Nikon D5100:

* DX 16 MP CMOS sensor (such as D7000)
* Normal ISO 100-6400, can be raised to ISO 25 600 (as D7000)
* 4 fps burst (still the same as D5000)
* Full HD 1080p movie, 30 fps, H.264 AVCHD (as D7000)
* Auto focus while recording video, no AF-F mode
* Vari-angle 3-inch LCD resolution of 921 thousand pixels (such resolution D7000)
* 11 point AF (still the same as D5000)
* 420 pixel RGB (still the same as D5000)
* Quiet shutter mode (as D7000)
* HDR bracketing and in camera (not in D3100)
* EXPEED 2 14-bit NEF (as D7000)
* Body only 8 million or 9 million with the kit AF-S 18-55mm VR

The presence of D5100 did finally answer the question whether Nikon will continue D5000 series or not. Directed more to the audience of the video with folding screen, D5100 still generally similar to the D3100 even though the sensor the same as D7000. Even arguably not many changes made from D5000 to D5100 Nikon, in addition to the sensor and the LCD hinges as much. Other changes are only minor updates but deserves to be appreciated. So the choice of Nikon DSLR camera in beginner class for 2011 will be more diverse, than the most basic of D3100 (dealing with the EOS 2000D) and the advanced amateur as D5100 (dealing with the EOS 600D).
